Unfortunately, we have to inform you that, for various reasons, the exact opening days for 2026 have still not been finalized.
Therefore, there will be no Muttenthalbahn train services on Easter Sunday, and our museum will also remain closed throughout the day (there seems to have been a misunderstanding, and we hope that no one ends up waiting at the station disappointed).
On the day of the Muttental Festival, April 26, 2026, our train will operate a shuttle service from the Nachtigallstraße parking area to Zeche Nachtigall and back. However, it will only pass through our site without stopping. There will be no stop at Theresia, and our museum grounds will also remain closed on that day.
